get your idea off the ground
1. send us your idea
Here is a quick guide on how we work to your brief to create professional, customised scientific illustrations and figures.
First, you’ll need to Send Us Your Idea. You can do this by emailing us a Design Brief Form. You'll need to provide some basic information, such as your target publication, and specify any project deliverables. You may also want to send us a simple Concept Sketch, images, or plotted data. If you'd prefer, you can Contact Us via email to discuss a project.
2. get a quote
We’ll email you a quote and timeframe for the proposed work. Quotes are developed for you on a project specific basis. The typical price ranges for our various graphics services can be found here.
3. Designer-client agreement
We'll then email you a Contract to review and sign, which finalises your project deliverables, cost, and turnaround time. Once returned we'll start working on the project and you can send us any additional images, text, data, etc. that you want to be incorporated.
4. Draft
5. revisions
You'll receive a draft image to review. We'll be on hand throughout the process to discuss the project and share ideas.
After reviewing your draft image you can tell us if any revisions are needed. We'll work with you to make sure the final version is exactly how you want it.
6. invoice and download
After you approve the draft image and any revisions we’ll email you an invoice. We'll then send you the finalised image in your desired file formats. Invoices can be paid using a number of secure, online payment options.
